Thank you for considering The Sunset for your event. Our establishment offers a variety of options and a staff with experience to provide you with an enjoyable and successful visit. The following guidelines and procedures will ensure that you are completely satisfied with your event.

General Information

Payment Policy

An 18% gratuity and all applicable sales tax are required for the banquet room. Functions are limited to 5 hours. Afternoon functions must end by 4:30 p.m. Evening functions must begin at 6:00 p.m.

We must have a tentative count two weeks prior to your event. A final count is required one week in advance of your event. You will be charged for the figure quoted in this guarantee. The Sunset hosts 2 banquet events per day.

We require a $200.00 non-refundable deposit to secure your date as definite: paid by cash, cashier's check, money order or credit card. The deposit is applied to the date you have committed to, and cannot be applied to another date.

Payment is required by check, cashier's check, money order or cash unless previous arrangements have been made.

Menus

Menus are guaranteed for 30 days prior to your event.

Security

The Sunset will not assume responsibility for any personal items prior to, during or following your event.

Beverage Service

We offer a complete selection of beverages to compliment your function. Please note that alcoholic beverage sales are regulated by the State of New York. Sunset, as a licensee, is responsible for administration of these regulations. It is policy that no liquor, beer or wine may be brought into or taken from the facility. It is New York State Law that no person under the age of 21 be served, consume or have possession of alcohol. Proper identification is required for everyone.

Decoration

Sunset will not permit any tape, staples, nails or any other substance used to affix items to walls or the ceiling. Confetti on the premises will incur a $100.00 cleaning charge.

Service Charge and Sales Tax

There is an 18% gratuity charge on the food and beverage total. Applicable New York State sales tax is charged on food and beverages.

Additional Information

It is policy that no food products are brought into the facility from outside sources without consent of the Sunset.

Sit Down Banquet

The above dinners are served with a chef salad, choice of baked potato or twice baked potato (choose one for entire party), vegetable, bread and butter, coffee or tea, and an ice cream sundae for dessert.

For larger parties, we require that you choose three or four of the above entrees for your guest's choice.

Due to the unsettled conditions of the wholesale food industry, the banquet prices may be subject to change with a 30 day notice. All banquets are subject to an 18% gratuity and applicable sales tax.
